UPDATE: 200 We Energies Customers Lost Power

Outages are between 6 Mile and 5 1/2 Mile roads and east of Middle Road; and west of Highway 31 between Three Mile Road and Northwestern Avenue.

UPDATE: The power cut out again east of Middle Road between 6 and 5 1/2 Mile roads at 4:47 a.m. and is still out. Additionally, the power is out for about 175 customers just west of Highway 31 between Three Mile Road and Northwestern Avenue at about 7 a.m., according to the We Energies power outage map.

The power was out for about 200 We Energies customers since about 7:45 p.m. Thursday night.

The service returned at about 1 a.m. Friday morning.

The area affected by the outages was between 6 Mile and 5 1/2 Mile roads and east of Middle Road, according to the power outage map on the We Energies website. The outages are still under investigation.

Cathy Schulze, a spokesperson for We Energies, said there were about 4,600 customers without power in the We Energies service area. Most of the outages were in Franklin, Racine, Somers, and Pleasant Prairie.
