5 Things You Need To Know This Week
You're busy, so we've compiled a list of a few items... you know, like who the football team will play next week, what the Village Board will talk about and a few area events you won't want to miss.
1. The Horlick Rebels won against the Park Panthers 33 to 12, check out the photos here. They'll face the Franklin Sabers at 7 p.m. Sept. 14 at Hammes field, 7345 Washington Ave. Great job guys and good luck playing against Franklin!
2. The Caledonia Utility District Commission meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday at the Utility District office, 333 4 1/2 Mile Road. They'll discuss and possibly approve the district's 2013 proposed budget.
3. Finance Committee will meet on at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the East Side Community Center, 6156 Douglas Avenue. One of the items they'll be talking about is purchasing laptops for village board members.
4. If you are looking for a fun events to take your kids to, check out the Caledonia Homecoming, the FaithWorks Fall Festival, and the Eco-Justice Center Fall Festival.
