Caledonia Fire Chief Richard Roeder (l) congratulates Lt. Matthew Yanny on his promotion Feb. 4. Yanny started with CFD in 1996 as a paid-on-call fire fighter and was promoted to full time in 1999. The Commission's vote was unanimous, and Yanny's promotion took effect immediately, on Feb. 5. Congratuations!

Caledonia Fire Department's newest lieutenant is Lt. Matthew Yanny. His promotion was approved by the village's Police and Fire Commission on Feb. 4.
Yanny has been with the department since 1996.
