A 47-year-old Caledonia woman is facing charges after she allegedly bit her husband in the arm during an argument.

According to the criminal complaint the woman, who isn’t being identified by Patch in order to protect the identity of the victim, was having an argument with her husband in their home in the 2900 block of Six Mile Road when he wanted to see her cell phone to see if she was texting a man he thought she was having an affair with.

During the fight the man reached for the phone and the woman bit his forearm.

She will make her next appearance in court Sept. 18.
