Developing Caledonia Should Include Reaching Out to Diversity

One village resident thinks it's time to start looking to attract Muslim Americans to live and work in Caledonia.

Why not outreach to the community of Muslim Americans? They are generally well-educated, striving for success in the United States, hard working, entrepreneurial and friendly. They are wrongly feared and, thus, few communities reach out to them.

Muslim Americans would buy and build houses, take up empty business buildings on Douglas and bring life, energy & tax base to our community. We would use existing facilities to create a dynamic community and make Caledonia a special place for bridging cultural separations and encouraging peace.

Thank you,
SK
