Man Charged With Plotting To Blow Up Pentagon And U.S. Capitol

Rezwan Ferdaus, U.S. born citizen, allegedly worked with al Qaeda.

 

The Associated Press and CNN are reporting that Federal authorities have arrested a 26-year-old Massachussettes man for plotting to blow up the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol using a remote controlled airplane.

According to CNN, Rezwan Ferdaus, 26, a U.S. citizen from Ashland, Massachusetts, planned to blow up the buildings using a model airplane filled with explosives. FBI agents uncovered Ferdaus’ plan. He is alleged to have been working with al Qaeda.
