Man's Obama Yard Sign Burned
Caledonia police say there's no evidence of who may have destroyed the sign.
A man called 911 after someone set his Obama yard sign on fire at a home in the 7800 block of Douglas Avenue 2:11 p.m. Friday.
According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, the man told police he suspected his neighbor had lit the sign on fire after a witness saw the sign smoldering in the front yard. When the witness walked up to the driveway, he saw the man's neighbor walking back down the driveway. The neighbor told police he didn’t start the fire.
Police said the two neighbors have had an ongoing, but civil disagreement with one another. However, they have no proof that the neighbor lit the man’s sign on fire and no citations will be issued.
A number of pro-Obama and pro-Romney signs have been vandalized across the country.

Seems like this kind of crap has become a regular occurrence ever since 2008. Hoffa thought that Obama was going to bring us together - not divide us even further apart.

Last week I saw a very large Romney sign with black paint thrown on it. It was just north of Petrified Springs off of Hwy 31. I wanted to go back and get a picture, but didn't have time. I drove by today, and it appears he/she has new signs.

At least they didn't poison his grass like some libtard did to that poor sob on 4 Mile road with his pro Walker sign during the recall. I've thought of putting a Romney sign in my yard by I think I'd have to put a protected by Glock sign next to it.

A smoldering Obama sign, while certainly an inapropriate form of protest, still conveys a certain symbolism regarding his presidency.
Perhaps Denise can check out the GOP victory center to view signs altered with the only word out-of-control Democrats seem to know.

C'mon on you guys... I acknowledged that this is an ongoing problem from both parties, thus the links to other incidents in the U.S. I guess that little fact goes unnoticed...and somehow I'm biased because I actually reported on something that HAPPENED in Caledonia. If you think for one second that I wouldn't report on that stuff from your camp... you are mistaken. There was a police report made in Caledonia and if there would have been others, I would have reported on that too. BTW... I'm OK with you uploading photos into the photo gallery, but they need to meet the terms of service. Had to take one out because of the language, but the rest can stay. If you'd like to post others you are welcome to.

Sorry about the terms of service violation, Denise. My bad. Guessing the thug vandal thought he/she was practicing their first amendment rights with their artistic reinterpretation of Romney-Ryan signage. It was in that same spirit I posted the picture. Anyone who wants a better look can check it out at Racine GOP victory center. An excellent place to volunteer at to make phone calls and the like, BTW.
But really, Denise? Calling the police over a crispy sign is what makes it news? "My camp" would have the police running in circles if we reported all the transgressions against us. You know that is true. My house was egged during the recall election because of the signage I had out front. No, I didn't call the police. I just worked harder for my cause.

I do admit that the burning of the sign, although not a crime I have to worry about locking my doors at night, should not have been done. In the end it is private property.
My issue is, as a former serviceman, I am suppose to care about this but turn a blind eye to someone who burns the American Flag as a show of protest!

80% chance that this guy burned it himself, just to get publicity. It's been done before by low iq liberals.

Ms. Lockwood, could you have blacked out certain letters on those pictures? I think the public has a right to see them. Thanks.

Notice that the more vicious acts of vandalism are against Romney supporters. When Obama loses on November 6th, despite all the cheating and thuggery. Don't think for one minute that there is not going to be rioting. That is what liberals do. When things don't go their way they have temper tantrums. It is pretty sad that good decent people can't have a voice, without worrying about getting property destroyed. Spray painting a boat is far worse then a burned yard sign. I would love to hear Obama's answer if asked about his followers tactics!

Oh, please grow up--if you want to debate facts, not insult your neighbors it would be much more interesting.
