With his loving family by his side, William H. Roberts, 68, passed away peacefully Monday morning at his residence. He was born in Laona, WI, November 16, 1943, son of the late James and Myrle (Nee:  Layman) Roberts. William was united in marriage to Noella Etzelon May 24, 1969 and again on October 3, 2001. 

Survivors include his loving wife; his children, William (Sarah) Roberts of Baltimore, MD, Gordon (Jaclyn) Roberts, Catherine (Ernesto) Trevino, all of Racine; his six grandchildren, Sabrina and Amber Roberts, Zoie and Hazzel Roberts, Luke and Kayla Trevino; other relatives and dear friends. In his spare time he enjoyed gardening, yard work, and his beloved dog, Toby. Most of all he cherished time with his family. He will be dearly missed. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Kevin Mullins O.S.A. officiating at 9:30 a.m. Saturdayat at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Ave. A private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 5 pm. to 7 p.m. Friday at Maresh-Meredith & Acklam Funeral Home, 803 Main St, and from 9 a.m. until the time of mass at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission or St. Rita Catholic Church, or to St. Vincent De Paul Society have been suggested.
