I'm entirely confused - why would she have been taking the cash deposit to work?
I do certainly hope they find the suspects!

She was coming from getting it at the bank and taking it into work.

@Dan... good question. The preliminary reports called it that, so it may not be the best description... but the report isn't done and I don't have all of the details yet.

She was probably bringing in change - singles and coin - so they probably didn't get away with much.

Sounds like an inside job to me. Either she told someone or someone else at work knew she had money with her. In no way was this a random act.

I agree with Karen. Having worked in fastfood, it sounds like someone either knew what this woman was doing (change order or what have you) or she was failing miserably on the safety procedures of cash drops or pickups. Either way, I do hope they are caught.

You gotta admit-crooks today are getting more and more clever. Too bad that cleverness isn't used to get and hold a JOB!!!

All fast food needs to have an armored truck pick up their money. They are putting their workers life in danger. Not to mention the car was crashed. Bet the employees insurance had to cover it.

No description of the two men?

@John and Avenging, it's standard practice within crime reporting not to report just race when it's the only physical description we have. Now if I had more of a description like -- a 5'5'' tall white guy who is bald and has blue eyes, we'd use race. But saying they are looking for a white guy or a black guy isn't descriptive enough, nor is it useful. It's not about having people's feelings hurt, and I've been writing about crime well before Obama was in office (14 years). So, *shrug* I'm not going there.

If they put in descriptions, the black community might have its feelings hurt.Just not enough Obama stash to keep them home and not commit crimes. PUT IN ALL RACE SCRIPTORS PLEASE. If its whitey, blackie, brownie, spicey. curried....
