Racine's Kmarts and Sears Safe for Now
With the recent announcement of Kmart and Sears closings, there were questions as to whether Racine stores would make the cut. So far, so good.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Sears would be closing 100-120 stores across the country. Today, the first list, containing 79 stores was released.
According to the Sears media website and reported by WISN, Racine's Kmarts and Sears stores are safe. However, a Sears in West Baraboo and a Kmart in Wind Lake are on the list of closings.
More stores are expected to be added to that list by the end of 2012.
