Funny... only one of those restaurants is actually in Caledonia - Oh Dennis! ...which would be at the top of MY list.

and Derango's on 6 Mile is another Top Resturant in Caledonia and Racine!!!!!!!!!!! BEST Filets in Racine! BETTER Than Corner House!!!

Well, I won't bother with Yelp! as a source of information. How are Corner House, The HOBNOB, Waves, Summit, Sebastian's, Derango, Toad Hall, Salute, Mike and Angelo, Shogun (I could go on) not on the list?

Avenging... I'm thinking that a lot of people don't know about Yelp and some restaurants have been pushing it more than others.

Love that Oh Dennis is on here! Though I'm surprised that the article headline implies that there are more than one Caledonia restaurant in this list.

Sebastian's is a fabulous restaurant. Based on this list, I will never again read a Yelp review. Oh! Dennis is great too. But no question, Sebastian's would hold its own among the top restaurants in the Midwest.

Yeah, I wish it was a Caledonia list! I agree that Sebastians is great for a special occasion or just to enjoy a good special they are running. I would go more often if not for the need to get a babysitter to go there. I also think, for the type of restaurant it is, the Douglas Ave Diner is absolutely fantastic. Oh! Dennis, to me, is massively overrated and a touch overpriced with merely average quality food. We went there and they weren't even slightly friendly on top of it, and we have never gone back. For all the talk about their Ribs being so great, I would say I like ribs at Applebees better than that. Derangos on 3 mile is inedible, imo. We had babysitters over and they mentioned they were going to get pizza from there and I gave them some yuck face... the next day they were like "man, you were right". I may have to try the 6 mile one again, is it that different?

One of the reasons I would like Walmart or any retail to get to our side of Racine would be for the fact that it would likely drag some more restaurant options to our side. The Douglas Ave Diner tends to get weekly business from my family and Sebastians we save for special occasions a few times a year. Other than that we have not had much luck in finding restaurants we really like in Caledonia and instead travel into Racine or back to Milwaukee. Years ago, we enjoyed The Olympic Flame before it went away. I was hoping this list would give me more places to look into in OUR area.
