William Binney, a 32 year veteran of the NSA speaks out. Tired of the government rolling over his rights decided to blow the whistle on 'Domestic Spying' in the United States government. Binney states the purpose of the government taking his software which was used to spy on the Soviets is now being used to monitor exactly what people are doing. It was just a different input, instead of foreign, now domestic. Building a social network, which in a sense is a graph, allows building a profile of your entire life in this data. Indexing all this data allows an outline of communities and large groups of people including individuals and politicians. Binney says, "Do we want our government to have this data? Do we want our government to have kill lists? This is something the stazi would have dreamed of."
Currently in Utah the National Security Agency is building the largest facility yet.
