AARP Driver Safety
Cars have changed. So have traffic rules, driving conditions, and the roads we drive on every day. The AARP Driver Safety class is the nation’s first and largest driver safety course intended to help drivers remain safe on today’s roads.
This class is especially designed for drivers over 50 to help people live more independently. The course covers the latest rules, roundabouts, navigating busy intersections and minimizing the effects of dangerous blind spots. Taking this class may also mean getting a reduced car insurance rate.
The AARP Driver Safety course will be hosted by ITN of Racine County and the Parkview Senior Community on Wednesday May 16th from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.at 5311 Douglas Avenue in Caledonia. The class will be taught by Linda and Chuck Miles, volunteer instructors with AARP Driver Safety in Wisconsin.
The fee for this course is $12.00 for AARP members and $14.00 for non-members. All class materials will be provided and free lunch will be served. To register for the class, please call (262) 681-1530.
