DESCRIPTION:The Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin will be Twi
 ce Inspired on Sunday\, March 11\, 2012\, 3 PM at First Presbyterian Chu
 rch\, 716 College Ave. The treasured Magnificat in D by J.S. Bach and Re
 quiem by John Rutter will be performed by the sixty voices of CAS. Both 
 works will feature chamber orchestra and vocal soloists Doug Clemons\, N
 ancy Davis\, Michael Mueller\, Brianne Sura and Erin Sura.\n&nbsp\;\nBac
 h&rsquo\;s lively Magnificat is about to celebrate its 280th anniversary
 \, and Rutter&rsquo\;s stunning and pastoral Requiem will celebrate its 
 28th anniversary. The works of Johann Sebastian Bach elicit the beauty a
 nd joy of liturgical music. His Magnificat in D is based on the canticle
  of Mary\, and debuted in Leipzig in 1733. The music of John Rutter is h
 eard in concert halls and cathedrals throughout the world. His anthem &l
 dquo\;This is the Day&rdquo\; was commissioned for the Royal Wedding in 
 2011. His widely performed and beloved Requiem debuted in 1985 at Lovers
 &rsquo\; Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas\, TX.\n&nbsp\;\nThe Chor
 al Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin is in its 25th season under th
 e direction of James Schatzman. Over 60 singers comprise this auditioned
  volunteer community chorus\, whose repertoire has included a wide varie
 ty of major works. Their mission is to perform master choral works\, off
 er musical outreach programs\, and enrich the cultural environment of th
