Milton Dockery, former co-host of Black Nouvea on
Milwaukee Public Television, will speak on Black
Women Who Made History in Wisconsin
at the Racine AAUW meeting on Tuesday, February 5, at the Racine Marriott, 7111 Washington Ave.

February is Black History Month.

Registration will start at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m.
and program at 7:30 p.m.  Reservations
can be made by sending a $23.00 check, made out to Racine AAUW, to Pat Holt, PO
Box 214, Somers, WI 53171.  The deadline
for reservations is January 29. 

While the program can be attended free-of-charge,
reservations are still requested in order to have enough seating.  Call 262-859-3085.

A graduate of North Carolina Central University in
Durham, North Carolina and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Dockery has degrees
In U.S. history with honors, majoring in 20th Century American
History with minors in Constitutional Law, U.S. Foreign Policy, and East
African History.

In 1999, he joined the faculty at Milwaukee Area
Technical College where he is currently co-chair of the Department of
History.  He has also served on the
faculties of the University of Wisconsin Parkside and Carthage College.
