Black Violin Rocks Racine Unified Students

Black Violin rocked Friday during a morning performance for Racine Unified students. They'll also take the stage for the public at 7 p.m. Friday.

Black Violin rocked Memorial Hall Friday morning for a large group of Racine Unified students before an evening performance for the general public.

“Wil B” Baptiste and Kevin “Kev Marcus” Sylvester play the viola and the violin, respectively, and are classically trained. They have mastered a unique style that mixes classical notes, modern beats and hip-hop sensibility.
