Our stable of local bloggers is growing, from foodies and a master gardener to a plethora of political pundits. Won't you join us?

If you have a penchant for putting (virtual) pen to paper -- and a special interest or talent to share -- we want to hear from you.

Caledonia Patch debuted a corps of bloggers on May 4, and we hope to grow our army of experts on everything local.

• Are you passionate about ?
• Are you an expert in your field?
• Can you engage people through writing?

We are seeking an interesting assortment of writers to engage readers and build their own followings through our platform. We'd love to see blogs on high school sports and extra curricular activities, 4-H, horse clubs, churches, and hobbies.

Be interesting. Be provocative. Be yourself.

Patch won't own what you post, so you can repost your entries to your other blogs. Much like The Huffington Post has done, Patch is providing local bloggers an online platform to have their words seen by a larger audience.

We want to hear from you. My role as editor is to review blog entries for grammar and spelling, and to ensure overall quality.

This isn't a reporting job. It's blogging. You write what you want to say, when you want to say it. Do it on your schedule, whether that's posting multiple entries per day or a couple times a month.
