Chainsaw Wood Carving Comes to River Bend
Chain saw artists will visit River Bend Oct. 19 and 20.
For the first time ever, talented chainsaw artists will show off their skills and creativity during the River Bend Chain Saw Carving Festival.
Artists from across the Midwest will carve from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 19 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 20. After carving ends Sunday, there will be an auction of the finished pieces, and 50 percent of the proceeds benefits River Bend.
Additionally, there is a full schedule of family events Oct. 19, including; demonstrations, workshops, exhibits, displays, learning centers, and crafts for children.
