The sap flowed at River Bend during the first Sunday of a month long event called . The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.River Bend every Sunday in March.
But on the first Sunday, people wandered into the lodge to get their fill of pancakes and sausage. And when they were done, they hiked outside and watched sap flow from the maple trees into a bucket and into a pot that cooked over an open fire.
