Local Art Teacher To Transform Trash Into Art For Class

And she needs your donations to make this class happen.

One man's trash is another's art? Yes, art. Sarah Pina, who teaches art at the REAL School, will teach students in grades 6-12 how to create art from what many people consider trash.

She needs old license plates, coffee cans, buttons and grubby sweatshirts to create unique art projects. In order to make the class possible, Pina is collecting donations so that her students will have the materials they need.

If you can donate any of the following items, please drop them off at: Olympia Brown Elementary/REAL School, 5915 Erie Street or call REAL School at 664-8100.
