Caledonia Welcomes New Florist To Town

Lee Flower's, former Racine business, opens its doors to warm welcome.

Lee's Flowers, a former City of Racine business, recently opened its doors in Caledonia to a warm welcome from the community.

"This is the slowest time of the year, but we have had new people, neighbors coming in and checking us out," florist owner Curt Adel said. "I'm satisfied for this time of the year. It'll take time."

Adel, who has been in the business for 44 years, expects to have a grand opening in August.

The in June was precipitated by the high cost of rent in Racine compared to that found Caledonia, Adel told the Patch earlier this year.

The florist offers plants and flowers along with professionally designed floral arrangements and gift baskets for all occasions, according to its Web site www.leesflowersinc.com. The florist also delivers.
