For more than 12 years, Racine County residents have enjoyed the "Empty Bowls" event -- with the goal of filling the bowls of the hungry and homeless in our area, and increasing awareness of the challenges faced by many of our fellow citizens. The growing popularity of the event caused organizers to add a lunch service in 1997. In addition to the evening hours, we'll be happy to serve you from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Local celebrities will help serve the soup and bread, all donated and prepared by local chefs and individuals, along with students from Gateway Technical College. Live music will round out the event.
