4-Mile Road: 2 Lanes and August Opening
Travel on the east side of Caledonia will get easier later this summer when 4-Mile Road opens.
The 4-Mile Road over pass will be open this summer, and the good news is that traffic will travel on two lanes in each direction instead of just one.
Caledonia Village Engineer Mike Hayek confirmed the roadway will be open in August, but for a short time, he may keep traffic down to one lane so crews can get finishing work complete.
"We'll still have landscaping to do and to install street lights, but the roadwork will be complete, Hayek said.
