No one was injured Tuesday evening after a car was reported parked on the railroad tracks near 6-1/2 Mile Road and Highway V, Caledonia police Lt. Gary Larsen confirmed.

"The car has been removed and the driver will be receiving appropriate help," he told Patch via email.

Units from Caledonia, Mount Pleasant and the Racine County Sheriff's Department responded to calls for a car sitting on the railroad tracks near 6-1/2 Mile Road and Highway V.

According to scanner reports from Racine County Scanner, the car was discovered at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. It is unclear if the vehicle is occupied or not, but there is a report that this may involve a suicidal subject.

Racine Uncovered is reporting that the female occupant of the car was safely removed from the scene and was transported to Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary's for evaluation. Train traffic was halted while officers and rescue personnel worked to clear the scene.

Our media partners at WISN 12 News told Patch that a tow truck was en route at 7:50 p.m. and also said that train traffic had been halted as a precaution.
