Asphalt is complete, and striping has started so 4-Mile Road can open for traffic later Friday.
Village Administrator Mark Janiuk said asphalt work completed Thursday, and striping would start and finish in time for the road to open.
"We are planning to open the road later on Friday to give the striping paint time to dry," he said.
One lane of traffic will open in each direction while finishing work like sidewalks and landscaping gets underway.
