Man Arrested for 16th Operating after Revocation

Caledonia police say they arrested a man Wednesday morning for his 16th Operating after Revocation offense, just two months after they arrested him for his 15th OAR offense.

Macquell Lashon Brown, 22, was stopped at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday because officers clocked him doing 51 over the posted 35 miles per hour speed limit. When police ran his driver's record, they discovered his license was revoked, making this stop his 16th OAR offense, CAPD Sgt. Brian Wall said.

On April 8, 2013, Caledonia police arrested Brown for his 15th OAR offense.

In addition to the current OAR charge, Brown was also issued a speeding ticket. He was released pending "a mandatory court appearance," a written release from the police department reads.
