No Parking on North Side of Johnson Avenue

Work in the Kremer subdivision is prompting Caledonia police to temporarily prohibit parking on the north side of Johnson Avenue.

Residents and visitors, be aware: there is no parking on the north side of Johnson Avenue between Douglas Avenue and Charles Streets during construction in the Kremer subdivision.

Signs are up, and Caledonia police Lt. Gary Larsen said violators are getting warnings, but that will change soon.

"Our officers have begun issuing warning citations, but will begin issuing parking citations on July 22," he told Patch.

Work in the Kremer subdivision is expected to fully complete next spring, but the primary phases will wrap up by Nov. 21, according to Assistant Engineer Tony Bunkelman.
