Police: Suspect Says 'That Taser Ain't No Joke'

A man learns the hard way about the power of a taser after Racine police use one on him after he allegedly took a swing at officers.

A Racine man who threatened police because he was tired of being at his group home was taken down by taser Wednesday.

Racine police officers say Jeffrey Flock, 51, escaped his group home in the 100 block of Sheffield Ave. because he said he wanted to go to jail or to a hospital because the group home was too hot and he just couldn't take anymore.

He reportedly threatened officers by asking, "What would happen if I attack you, partner?” and was told he'd go to jail, according to a report on Racine Uncovered.

Police were able to calm Flock and return him to his group home, but he allegedly took a couple of swings at the officers so they tased him to bring him under control.

On the way to the Racine County Jail, Flock reportedly said, "That taser ain't no joke." He also apologized for his behavior.
