Fall Health & Gift Fest

The annual Fall Health & Gift Fest will take place with more than 16 health practitioners, artisans, local business and others who are showcasing their wares and talents on Saturday, Nov. 9, at Lake House Health & Learning Center in Racine.

Visitors will find jewelry, art, knitted and crocheted items, natural soaps and body care products, cookbooks, healing Chinese teas, meditation CDs and other wares along with a variety of health professionals who will discuss their healing specialties and offer gift certificates.

The health professionals will include:

  • Karen Carnabucci, LCSW, TEP, holistic psychotherapist.
  • Arthur Shattuck, NCAAOM, physician of traditional Chinese medicine.
  • Sandy Bachman, Ayurvedic practitioner and practitioner of Higher Brain Living.
  • Kimberly McGuinness-Rook, CPM, LM, midwife specializing in gentle birth and women's care.
  • Kristina Bloom, Reiki and energy healing practitioner and intuitive adviser.
Artisans and artists include:

Katu Matson, Laurie Swanson, Leayn Tabili, Melissa Kirkeby and Dina Walker.

Also:

  • Wild Root Market will sell memberships to the upcoming grocery co-op.
  • Kevin Edward Rook will tell how fire walking leads to self empowerment.
  • Sara and John Lancaster will sell chemical-free local honey.

In addition, representatives of Usana Health Sciences, Wildtree, Norwex International, Pampered Chef and Infinity Lights.

Admission is free, but please bring non-perishable food items for the Racine County Food Bank and/or toiletries for the local homeless shelters.
