Gifford Elementary School Indoor Carnival: "Surf's Up!"

Gifford Elementary School will hold its 26th annual indoor carnival on Saturday, March 29. The theme of this year’s carnival is “Surf’s Up!” Bring the family to an early beach party complete with beach-themed carnival games, two bounce houses, raffles, prizes, and an interactive Aquatic Life Experience with starfish and sea urchins. 

The carnival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Entertainment will include carnival games, a cake walk, face painting, balloon creations, glitter tattoos, and a photo booth. Aquatics Unlimited of Greenfield will provide an interactive Aquatic Life Experience, where children can learn more about starfish, sea urchins, and more. Food offerings will include snow cones, cotton candy, walking tacos, pizza, a bake sale, and more.

Grand raffle prizes include a pair of 14K gold diamond solitaire earrings valued at $2,500 donated by Rasmussen Diamonds, an iPad mini, a 60-inch Samsung Smart LED TV, a Sony PlayStation 4 console, a camping package (campsite, 12-person tent and two sleeping bags) sponsored by Jelly Stone Campground, a two-night stay at Blue Harbor Resort donated by Katt Construction, and a golf and dining package worth $325 donated by Meadowbrook Country Club and Trattoria di Carlo. There will also be 12-15 themed raffle baskets.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the carnival or at the school office, or call 262-898-7209.
