Thank You Sebastians

The Caledonia Historical Society would like to extend an enthusiastic bravo! to Sebastian’s Restaurant as well as sincere thanks to all of the participants of last Sunday’s Farm to Table Benefit for the Caledonia Historical Society.

Scott Sebastian, his wife, and his entire staff did a superlative job hosting and highlighting local produce from their gardens, local meats from Dizak Farms and perfect pairings with Von Stiehl and biodynamic certified (a world-wide farm and gardening food movement founded in the principles of old-world farming and gardening practices) Johan Winery.

The seven-course event was beautifully presented, superbly prepared and seamlessly served. From the Essence of the Earth to the Montmorency Cherry Crisp and every course in between it would be impossible to give a higher thumbs up.

The Caledonia Historical Society was and is thrilled to partner with Sebastian’s and our partnership is a perfect example of Caledonia’s unique contribution to the Racine community. We are eagerly anticipating future opportunities highlighting the exploding Farm to Table movement, environmentally friendly farming and sustainable local produce and are very excited to be the recipients of Sebastian’s generosity in this first Farm To Table event.

Again, our thanks to Sebastian’s and all of the foodies that participated in this luscious, perfectly paced, and classy experience.

It was a truly signature event and one the CHS is eager to repeat. The “back to our roots” movement is a perfect complement to our mission and a shining example of Caledonia’s identity, assets and character.
