Who are my target customers and what is my business point of uniqueness

A key to increasing sales is defining your target customers and your business' point of uniqueness. Virtually all businesses have many competitors trying to sell their products to the same customers your business is targeting.

First, there are two fundamental means of increasing sales:
  -- Selling more to existing accounts
  -- Opening new accounts
Decide which of these two approaches offers the most promise for your business. They're not mutually exclusine, and it's legitimate to pursue both approaches.

Let's begin by asking ourself a critical question:
  -- What is my business point of uniqueness, or stated another way....how can I differentiate my business from my competitors?
