OBITUARY: Sam Koroghlanian

Sam Koroghlanian, 75, was a well known barber in Racine; the owner of Plaza Barber Shop for over thirty-eight years which was in the same location for that period of time.

Sam Koroghlanian, 75, passed away on Thursday at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints, surrounded by family and friends.

Sam was born in Racine on April 25, 1937 to Toros and Nazli (nee, Torosian) Koroghlanian. He was a well known barber in Racine; the owner of Plaza Barber Shop for over thirty-eight years which was in the same location for that period of time.

Sam is survived by his brother, Harry (Sylvia) Koroghlanian; nieces and nephew, Carol Koroghlanian, Philip (Connie) Koroghlanian, Gloria Koroghlanian and Michelle Koroghlanian; great niece, Amy Koroghlanian; and great nephews, Adam Koroghlanian and Aaron Koroghlanian. Sam is also survived by other relatives and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandmother, Osgi Koroghlanian.

Funeral services for Sam will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at , 4605 Erie St. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Memorials may be directed to St. Mesrob Church or a charity of one's choice.
