A Fine Line opens at Clockwise

The world premiere production of A Fine Line opens April 11th at Clockwise Theatre in downtown Waukegan. An exploration of family, gender, and making peace with oneself, A Fine Line is a poignant, funny mash-up of life, death, and romance novels. Intersex installation artist D. Garfinkel has spent an entire life – a life that is almost over - dancing the fine line between man and woman, joy and sorrow, acceptance and rejection, and is on a final, urgent quest to reconnect one last time with his now-grown foster son. Written by Rob Winn Anderson and directed by Andrea J. Dymond, A Fine Line features Doug McDade (Gurnee) in the tour-de-force role of D. Garfinkel. The managing director of acclaimed Shattered Globe Theatre, McDade is an award winning stage and film actor, director, and acting coach throughout the region. The rest of the A Fine Line cast features Kevin M. Costello (Chicago), Adrian Garcia (Chicago), Anatole Odolant (Chicago), and Matt Wilson (Chicago). A Fine Line runs April 11th-May 4th. Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM, Sundays at 7PM. Tickets are only $20 and can be purchased through the website at www.clockwisetheatre.org, by calling Brown Paper Tickets 24/7 at 1-800-838-3006, or at the door. Group rates (10 or more, pre-paid) are available. Clockwise Theatre is located at 221 North Genesee Street in downtown Waukegan. Ample, free on-street parking. A Fine Line contains adult themes.
