Awkward: Man Calls Police After Watching Porn, Computer Locking Up

Sometimes we just need a little reassurance from the police, even when we're doing things behind closed doors.

A Caledonia man called the police after he received a message from the U.S. Department of Justice telling him that his computer had been locked and that he needed to pay $30 to unlock it.

He had been looking at pornography on his computer prior to the computer locking up, according to a report by the Caledonia Police Department.

Police told the man they had never heard of a wiretap on a computer and they told him the government would never charge a fee to unlock a computer.
