BREAKING NEWS: Home Surrounded By Numerous Squad Cars, Guns Drawn

Caledonia Police surround a home with guns drawn, but no word on the reason why. Neighbors say a resident was upset that his electricity was shut off.

With guns drawn, Caledonia Police officers surrounded a home and blocked off a road for over an hour tonight on Royal Park Road just south of Four Mile Road and Erie Street.

Starting at about 5:30 p.m. were seen walking around a house carrying shotguns on the north side of the road, according to preliminary reports and scanner reports.

A woman who lives in the neighborhood said her neighbor was angry that his electricity was being shut off and there was some type of confrontation, but she was unsure of the details. She also said there was a WE Energies truck parked around the corner.

“I’m not sure if they got him or not, but my neighbor told me that she thought his son came down to talk to him,” she said.

Another neighbor told Patch that officers told residents to stay inside their home and the road was blocked off until about 6:30 p.m.
