Riding in a car with no front license plate, police find marijuana and prescription meds in his car.

Davis was charged by the Racine County District Attorney’s office today with felony charges of possession of narcotics with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, four counts of bail jumping and carrying a concealed weapon stemming from the traffic stop on Douglas Avenue at Four Mile Road.

Davis was also charged with burglary and another count of bail jumping stemming from a prior incident on Oct. 5 where some gas was taken from a garage at a residence in the 2100 block of Crowne Pointe Drive.

If convicted on all charges, Davis faces up to 29 and a-half years in prison and/or fined up to $100,500.

According to the criminal complaint, Davis denied that the drugs were his. Police noted that the drugs found in the car were the same kind taken from a residence in the 4800 block of Alcyn Drive, where he had recently stayed overnight. However, Davis was not charged in connection with that incident.

Two passengers, Marlon Williams, 17, of Racine, and Brittany Hoyt, 20, of Racine, were arrested for possession of marijuana. Hoyt was also arrested for possession of amphetamines with intent to sell.

According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, Williams, Davis, and Hoyt were all passengers in a car being driven by Cory Lohmeyer Jr, 18, of Racine. Officers stopped Lohmeyer because the car he was driving didn’t have a front license plate. He also didn’t have a driver’s license and was cited for operating a vehicle after suspension. The owner of the car, Brittany Hoyt, 20, was in the front passenger seat said she knew the car didn’t have a front license plate.

Davis is being held on a $33,900 bond.
