Caledonia Sex Offender Charged in Connection With Oak Creek Purse Theft

A sex offender working at Quizno's is charged after police say she moved without notifying authorities. Police found that out when her girlfriend was accused of stealing a purse from a customer at restaurant.

A 31-year-old Caledonia sex offender is facing charges after her coworker and her girlfriend were recently charged with stealing a purse at a Quizno’s in Oak Creek.

Tricia A. Heinzelmann was charged in Racine County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of sex offender registry violation. If convicted, she faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint, Oak Creek police officers took a theft report after a customer left her purse at the store. When the customer had returned to get it, the purse had gone missing. Heinzelmann and Tabitha R. Sandberg, 31, who also worked at the store and is Heinzelmann’s girlfriend, face separate charges in the theft.
