Cash And Safe Taken During Burglary At Floral Creations, Police Say
Burglars take $1,000s from local florist, say Caledonia Police.
Over $550 in cash from a register and a safe containing $3,240 was taken from the store sometime before 12:56 p.m. Feb. 12 at Floral Creations, 5200 Douglas Ave.
A garage door, metal filing cabinet and a metal door were also damaged, according to a report by the Caledonia Police Department.
While the rear south door was found unlocked, police found pry marks on all of the exterior doors to the business. They also found that several valuable items were not taken.

The owners told police that they don’t know who broke into the business and don’t believe any of their employees were involved.
The case remains under investigation.
