CRIME BLOTTER: Missing Urinal And Drive Mats, And A Driver Is Cited For Running A Stop Sign

  • A man’s urinal was discovered missing at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1 from Gorney Park, 8225 Nicholson Road. According a report by the , a contractor was cutting the grass at the park and went to use the bathroom when he realized the facilities were a bit inadequate. The estimated cost of the 3 and a half-foot tall urinal is $1,000.
  • A semi crashed into a car after the driver of the car had pulled out in front of the semi at 5:31 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 on Highway V at Northwestern Avenue. According to a report by the Caledonia Police Department, Donna Stewart, 50, of Racine, was arrested for operating a vehicle after revocation, failure to yield the right of way, and not having insurance.
  • Three rubber driving mats were taken sometime between 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 and 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 28.  The estimated value of the three-foot by four-foot mats is $195 a piece.
