Defendents In TCF Armed Robbery In Court Thursday

Two men accused of robbing TCF Bank last week were in court, but they've chosen to waive their preliminary hearing.

The two men charged with robbing TCF Bank last week were in court today and both men waived their right to have a preliminary hearing, according to court records.

Antonio Brown, 28, was charged with armed robbery β€” party to a crime. If convicted, Brown faces up to 40 years in prison and may be fined up to $100,000. Darnell Williams, 39, was charged with armed robbery β€” party to a crime, attempting to flee or elude a police officer, and first degree recklessly endangering safety. If convicted of all charges, Williams faces up to 56 years in prison and fined up to $135,000.

According to the criminal complaint, . One of the men had a gun and they ordered employees to go into an office, then left. They were captured shortly after the robbery.

The two men are expected to be arraigned in Racine County Felony Judge Allen "Pat" Torhorst's courtroom at 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 20.
