'I'll Take Prison Fight for $500, Alex'

It was "Jeopardy!" vs. the Discovery Channel as two Racine County jail inmates got into a shoving match after one of them changed the channels on the TV.

Two Racine County Jail inmates have been charged with disorderly conduct after getting into a fight over the TV game show "Jeopardy!"

Jesse A. Cortez, 47, and Allen A. Flowers, 21, began arguing with each other in a day room at the jail after Cortez changed the channel from “Jeopardy,” which Flowers had wanted to watch, according to the criminal complaint.

Cortez told police he didn’t notice Flowers was watching TV and switched the station to the Discovery Channel in the April 2 incident, the complaint said.

The two switched channels back and forth, and at one point, one of them unplugged the TV set. Each inmate also claimed he was pushed by the other, but both denied doing any pushing, according to the complaint. Neither was injured in the dispute.
