On Sept. 28, Caledonia police officers were called to Pick ‘n Save after Sallis went into the store and took six four carton packs of Gillette Fusion razor blades and left the store without paying. The stolen items were valued at $120.

On Oct. 9, officers were again called to the store after Sallis came in the day before and stole another $120 in blades without paying. After taking the report, the officer was then called to Kmart, where security officers saw Sallis stuff $100 in cologne in a garbage can, but left the items in the store before he left.

The officer contacted Sallis, who agreed to have his picture taken, then left the scene. The officer determined Sallis was the same person who stole the blades and he was also the same person who stole razor blades and condoms from the Mount Pleasant Pick ‘n Save on Sept. 10, Oct. 1 and 8.

He was later arrested at his home in the 1200 block of LaSalle Street. He’s currently being held in Racine County Jail on $250 bond.
