Oak Creek Man Faces OWI, Resisting Charges

Caledonia police took him to jail after the suspect was disruptive at the hospital.

An Oak Creek man was charged with an OWI second offense, resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct following a traffic stop near Highway 32 and 7 Mile Road early Fri., March 11.

Caledonia police reported that Eric Angel, 22, was stopped for speeding about 2:45 a.m. while northbound on Highway 32.

After failing a field sobriety test, Angel reportedly became uncooperative and argumentative when taken to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare for a blood test. The disruption continued while police and Angel were at the hospital.

Angel was taken to the Racine County Jail.
