Person Of Interest Interviewed In Caledonia Child Enticement Case

Caledonia Police interview a person of interest in one child enticement case. They are still searching for a suspect in the second case.

A man, who offered a ride home to a neighbor girl during some bad weather, told police he meant no harm by the proposition.

The unnamed man is a person of interest in a possible child enticement case that happened on Feb. 10 near Rachel Glen and Sandell Way. He turned himself in to the Caledonia Police Department on Saturday. Officials with the Caledonia Police Department released the following statement:

The person was interviewed and it appears no harm was intended by the person of interest. The victim and her parents were notified and satisfied with the results.

A separate second possible child enticement incident happened on Feb. 4 on Four 1/2 Mile Road and Chestnut Drive, according to a story by the Racine Journal Times.

If anyone has any information, please call the Sgt. Brian Wall at 835-4423 ext. 139.
