Police Blotter: Caledonia Police Assist In Armed Robbery Call In Racine

Caledonia police officers assisted Racine police in responding to the BP gas station, 3945 Erie St. in Racine, right before midnight on July 12 for an armed robbery in progress.
The attendant was locking up for the night when a man, wearing a mask and a hoodie, pulled a gun on him, according to the police report. The victim ran and the gunman fled the scene.
The gunman was described as a black man, about 6-feet, 3-inches tall, wearing a ski mask, black pants and a gray hoodie at the time of the incident.

- The driver of a late model baby blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo drove away from Ayra's Gas and Grocery, 7100 Douglas Ave., without paying for gas at 9:15 a.m. July 12. The amount taken was $50.18.
