Speed A Factor In Caledonia Crash

Man admits to driving 80 mph.

A man was injured in a one-car crash that happened at 11:40 p.m. July 4 on State Highway 38 and Brooke Road.

Jess Flick, 18, of Caledonia, crashed into a sign and smashed into the tree with his car. Flick was trapped inside his car, according to a report by the Caledonia Police. 

Flick told police he was traveling at 80 mph and driving too fast. Police noted that Flick had not been under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and that he was wearing a seatbelt.
