Suspect In Wallet Theft Used Credit Cards In Caledonia

Theft happened in Greenfield, but the cards got used at gas station here.

and Greenfield police are looking for a woman they suspect was involved with the theft of a wallet in Greenfield and one of the credit cards was used in Caledonia.

They released a photo of the woman to media outlets today.

A wallet, which belonged to a Greendale woman, was found on top of the garbage at the gas station, 13600 Seven Mile Road at 9 p.m. Nov. 10, 2011. The owner of the wallet told police that her wallet had been stolen from her while she was at Pick’n Save, on 76th Street and Coldspring Road in Greenfield after 1:30 p.m.

Caledonia Police worked with the Greenfield Police Department to identify a silver colored mini-van being at the gas station, which coincides the time that the gas was pumped on the stolen card.

The woman was last seen wearing a gray blazer-type jacket, black pants and a white turtleneck. She also had a medium-length ponytail.
