Kenneth told police the Lincoln traveled at a high rate of speed, entered an unplowed section of the roadway, lost control and collided head on with the Blazer. The road had not been plowed and the snow was over one-foot deep.

Adsit, who was not injured in the crash, could not tell police how the crash occurred. He only told police he was trying “to get to a motel on Sheridan Road.” Officers found a nearly empty bottle of vodka and an unopened bottle in the car.

Adsit is being held on a $2,000 bond.
