On a windy Wednesday afternoon, workers carefully hoisted equipment up to the top of the radio tower. Police Chief Toby Schey said workers wanted to get the expansion project done by June 24 so that testing could be done. Mt. Pleasant and Sturtevant dispatch is expected to go live on July 1 and the village needed the new equipment to handle the new frequencies.
